In addition to the annual flagship New York Television Festival, which takes place each fall in Manhattan, the NYTVF hosts events year-round offering artists, industry and TV fans the opportunity to network, learn and celebrate independent television and all things TV.

Annual New York Television Festival

Held in Manhattan each fall, the New York Television Festival is the flagship event of the NYTVF calendar and hosts thousands of artists, industry leaders and TV fans for a week of screenings, panels, premieres and more.

The 2011 New York Television Festival welcomed nearly 15,000 attendees, including over 250 Official Artists, to lower Manhattan. To read more about the 2011 Festival, click here

NYTVF London

In 2011 the NYTVF launched the first annual NYTVF LONDON. The event took place on November 11, 2011, and featured an afternoon of panels focused on opening the U.S. television market to UK-based independent television producers and production companies.

 

At the event, signature sponsors FOX Television Studios, in conjunction with Apostle (Rescue Me), and Warner Bros. International Television Production announced guaranteed development initiatives for 2012, open exclusively to UK producers. Additionally, signature sponsor BBC America hosted the NYTVF London opening session, as well as the event’s closing cocktail reception. To read more about NYTVF London click here

NYTVF Year-Round Special Events

The NYTVF is coming to a city near you! Throughout the year, NYTVF hosts submissions launch parties, networking mixers, panels and info sessions for independent content creators, writers, producers, comedians, documentarians, Festival friends and Alumni. Join us in a city near you for the chance to meet with NYTVF organizers, network with fellow creatives and learn about current initiatives and development opportunities with the Festival. 2011 tour stops included Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia and Washington D.C.
