Dear Friends,
Strong Suspisicion wins the Act I: ION TV Movie Script Contest!
The New York Television Festival and ION Television would like to congratulate David Bennett Carren and J. Larry Carroll, the writers of Strong Suspicion for winning the Act I: ION TV Movie Contest.
As part of this distinction, David and Larry will receive $40,000 and a development deal with ION Television. Once in development, the script has the possibility to be produced as a TV movie to air on ION Television!
Script Synopsis: When a spoiled playboy’s attempt to annoy his wealthy absentee father lands him in grand jury duty for a year, he takes on a corrupt DA and transforms a compliant jury into the baddest game in town.
Thanks to all who entered the Fox Comedy Script Contest!
We would like to thank all the immensely talented writers who submitted pilots to our FOX Comedy Script Contest. This year we received even more scripts than last year!
Finalists will be announced in late August with the winner being awarded $25,000 and a development deal with FOX at the NYTVF Award Show on September 25th. We hope to see you all there.
Best of luck to all entrants.
