Submit your Pilot for a chance to win $25k and a development deal with Electus

The New York Television Festival is teaming up with Microsoft’s innovative decision engine Bing and branded entertainment visionary Ben Silverman’s Electus to develop a new show created by a member of the NYTVF community. The show can be scripted or nonscripted, with any format or tone. The theme of the competition is “Decisions.” How you showcase that theme is up to you, but it must be central to the story or format of the show.

NATPE (National Association of Television Production Executives) kicks off in Miami on Sunday, January 23rd and NYTVF Exec Director, Terence Gray will be moderating a discussion on Transmedia Storytelling on Monday, January 24th with Jeff Gomez, CEO and Founder of Starlight Entertainment.

Meet the Director of Artist Relations

We are thrilled to announce that Laura Heckman, longtime Festival staffer, has been promoted to Director of Artist Relations. In this position, Laura will serve as the primary contact for all artistic initiatives and community opportunities. As in her previous position, she will continue to be available throughout the year to answer any questions from submissions to screenings and keep you updated on all things Festival.
