JUST ANNOUNCED:
NYTVF Networking and Info Event - Washington D.C.
 

The NYTVF will be hosting an event in partnership with The 48 Hour Film Project next Thursday, March 31st in Washington D.C. DC-area artists and content creators are invited to network with organizers from both Festivals and be the first to hear about new NYTVF initiatives for nonscripted and nonfiction producers. A special thanks to NYTVF alums Barry Gribble and Kevin Good for their help in coordinating.

NYTVF ALUMS IN THE NEWS:
2010 NYTVF OFFICIAL SELECTION “POINTLESS” ACQUIRED BY IFC
 

ifcYesterday, IFC announced the acquisition and development of 2010 NYTVF Official Selection, “POINTLESS,” created by Ethan Berlin and Eric Bryant. A hearty congratulations to the creators, along with show host Kurt Braunohler.pointless

“Pointless” is the second project from the 2010 New York Television Festival to be acquired by IFC. “Greg and Donny,” created by Matt Yeager and Jeff Skowron, which won the IFC-sponsored “Out of the Box” Award at the 2010 NYTVF, was announced as part of the network’s development slate late last year. COUNTDOWN TO SUBMISSION: FOX COMEDY SCRIPT CONTEST

Reminder: the submission period for the 4th Annual FOX Comedy Script Contest opens on Monday, April 4 at 12 pm EST and will remain open through 12 pm EST on Monday, April 18, or when 1,500 submissions are received, whichever comes first. fox logo
